AI-readable research reports
Research that AI cites correctly
Turn research reports and white papers into a verified AI Version with page-level citations, so AI answers quote your findings with their caveats intact.
The problem
AI systems summarize reports from whatever copy they find. Tables flatten, methodology notes fall off, and caveats separate from the numbers they qualify.
There is no single place an agent can go to get the authoritative version — and know which version it is.
How The Papers handles it
- Upload the report (PDF, Word or Markdown). Word is read natively: headings, tables, footnotes and endnotes.
- Each figure and claim keeps a reference to its source page; qualifiers stay attached.
- Publish at a permanent URL with Markdown and JSON next to the human page, and an llms.txt index for the whole Data Room.
Checked against the source
- figures and units
- table structure
- footnotes and methodology qualifiers
- page provenance for every value
Where to put the link
The report landing page, its PDF cover, and press materials.
Not a converter
The Papers is not a PDF-to-Markdown converter. Conversion is the first step. Before an AI Version is published, its figures, currencies, dates, periods, qualifiers and formulas are checked against the original document, each value keeps a reference to its source page or cell, and anything the source does not settle is put to the document owner instead of guessed.
