Original files
Uploaded PDFs are temporary processing inputs. We delete the original as soon as its AI Version has been reconstructed, before any confirmation we ask you for. An independent cleanup removes any remaining temporary file within 24 hours, even if processing fails. We do not keep page images.
What we keep
Your AI Version (Markdown, JSON), the canonical document model, a Source Map of extracted text with positions and hashes for provenance and verification, version history and verification results.
AI providers
Where automated understanding needs a language model, relevant excerpts are sent to our AI provider with storage disabled for the request. Ordinary reads of your documents never invoke a model.
Visibility
Public documents can be listed and indexed. Unlisted documents are reachable only by link. Private documents are served only to members of your Data Room and are never stored in shared caches.
Accounts and payments
Authentication is provided by Clerk and payments by Stripe. We store an email snapshot, Data Room membership and payment records.
